Jermaine O'neal < Shawn Marion



There's a lot of talk about a possible Jermaine O'neal trade for Shawn Marion and possibly Marcus Banks. As a Toronto fan, I don't think Toronto is the place for O'neal. He's done some work and impressed me at times, but I think that if he didn't get hurt, Bargnani wouldn't have gone off. Bargnani and Bosh together is pretty deadly with fast feet and deadly jumpers. If the Raptors add Shawn Marion to the line-up, the "slasher" that the team has been missing will be in effect. Jamario Moon could be a "slasher" and take it to the whole more, but he's a straight puss. Kapono has a deadly shot, the best in the league, but he stands there like a stupid statue. With Joey G, Marion, Bosh, Roko, Parker, and Bargs going hard, we'd see some positives to the outcome of games, with more free throw attempts as well.

With all that said, sources say that the trade is imminent. Pat Riley, Heat President commented that the trade is far from imminent. Riley would like to observe O'neal's game and how his knee will hold up. Riley stated, "Whoever is saying that [a trade is imminent] is putting the cart before the horse." When Marion was informed of what Riley has said, he stated, "That's good to hear, but I told you I'm not talking about it anymore. I'm done."

I want this to go through. There is still HOPE for the Raptors. I BELIEVE!
