Marko Mondays - Wanna Get Away?

For my first entry, we gotta go back to the 2004 NBA draft. The Toronto Raptors select Brazilian center Rafael Araujo from BYU with the 8th overall pick. Heads turning, shoulders shrugging, people wondering who the heck is this guy? Myself, I thought wow another scrub/bust that will leave to Europe soon. Reminded me when the Raptors selected Serbian center Aleksandar Radojevic with the 12th overall pick in the 1999 NBA Draft. Both were tall and completely useless. As you watch the video you see Araujo running the floor ready to get the pass and go strong to the basket. The thing that makes it worse is that man starts yelling when he's about to go up and dunk it like it was going to be a fierce dunk, but what happens is he bricks it off the front rim and makes himself look like a fool. In his rookier year he averaged 3.3 points and 3.1 rebounds in 12.5 minutes per game. In his second season with the Toronto Raptors he averaged 11.6 minutes a game, 2.3 points, and 2.8 rebounds while shooting 36.6% from the field. So basically, another scrub. On June 8, 2006 he got traded to the Utah jazz for Kris Humphries and Robert Whaley. He played 28 games for the Utah Jazz averaging 2.6 points and 2.4 rebounds per game in 8.9 minutes. After the season ended, he moved to Europe and signed with some European team and now I have no clue and really don't care about where is he since he's a garbage player. Rumour is that he got invited to the Minnesota camp for the 2008-2009 Season. No idea what the Timberwolves are thinking but as I say, "You do You." What really ticks me off about this selection is Rob Bobcock (don't get me started on him) selected Hoffa (as he was known here in Tornoto) ahead of highly touted Andre Iguodala who now is a all-star player in the NBA. MANNNNN!!!! Well what can you do...

So basically this video describes his NBA career.
