Watching Kwame Brown take the reigns at the center spot in LA while Andrew Bynum is down got me thinking: I am absolutely tired of hearing the number 1 pick in ‘06 is a bust. Andrea Bargnani's numbers are down from his rookie season, while many (including myself) expected him to have a breakout campaign. Watching those offensive skills he exhibited for a good stretch of the regular season sent some serious shivers down the spines of fans. Was that a flash for what we were going to see in the future? Are we talking about a Michael Olowokandi or Joe Smith here? Not even close. Bargs has not regressed. His goods are still very evident at the offensive end. So, why hasn't he taken off like people predicted? There are many, many reasons for that. Bargnani is starting at SF for the first time in his NBA Career. He was a small forward for much of his youth (Europe) and has played the last few years as a power forward. It's not fair to compare him to Brandon Roy, the stud taken in the same draft that has been handling the ball for his entire career. Bargnani is playing at a new position in a much different style of game. He hasn't adapted well to the less physical style of the NBA. It takes a lot more for a big to foul a player in Europe and Bargnani has been plagued by committing touch calls while guarding highly athletic fours and fives (the likes of which he's never seen before). I know many fans have been impatient with Bargnani’s growth, but soon Andrea will bust out of his shell.

Here's a look at the Air Jordan Retro 1 High's that are coming out early 2009. Jordan Brand has come out with some interesting colourways. The most anticipated is obviously the infrared/black ones that I've been seeing a lot lately. The royal blue one is my favourite out of all the releases. They're definitely hard body. And finally, the metallic grey. These should be out around January or February of 2009.

The Nike Air Max 1 Safari was expected to release for Spring 2009, but was released early in the U.S. Luckyyy. LOL. The Safari concept came out pretty nice featuring different shades of grey safari and a white sole. The AM1 classic is still coming strong.

Resonate from Japan has worked with Dickies to make the dope lowrize pants. They have come up with 2 colourways of grey and black with pinstripes. The pants also feature a black and white checker pattern along the inside waist line. The pattern is real useless, but at least you'll look fresh when your getting down with your significant other. YEE!

Kuumba is known for their scents and fragrance sticks. They have collaborated with many brands and this time they have teamed up with Stussy to make the "World Tribe" air freshener. The can looks real dope. It'll look dope just to display in my room and spray it a few times when needed. The spray paint can idea was creative. This will release in Japan at the end of December.

Honestly, I had a serious weekend with THE HOMIES and I'm exhausted. I know I'mma be busy with Christmas, family, and all that, but how do you expect me to stay away from blogging? Not much of a hiatus, eh? LOL. I gotta keep my people interested and give them what they want. Well, an update is coming real soon. YEE!

Lupe Fiasco has collaborated his Trilly & Truly brand with Swagger to create some sweatshirts and sweatpants that are available now. They released the Trilly & Truly logo sweatshirts and sweatpants in grey and navy. The t-shirt has the dope graphic of the "Lupestein," a fusion of Lupe Fiasco and Frankenstein. Those shirts come in white, grey, and navy. I need me a shirt asap.

Paul Coudamy designed 25 limited edition wooden K-Swiss shoes. They were created on computer, but was hand sculptured from wood.

I got picked up by my cousin, Robert early afternoon to go downtown before the Raps game to do a little x-mas shopping. We noticed we were low on fuel and filled up on gas.



Then we made our way to Yorkdale to hop on the subway.



We arrived at the Osgoode Station and started our shopping at New Era Toronto. Robert had to pick up a couple gifts and we had to pick up a bristol board to make our sign for the Raptors vs. Nets game. It was impossible to find a bristol board in the Fashion District. LOL. It started getting dark and we finally found a bristol board in a random convenience store for $2.50. WTF?! $2.50?! Oh well, we had to. We bought it, rolled it into a rubber band and made our way to Subway to get some grub and make our poster which later got confiscated by security -_-. You'll see why. LOL. Actually, I don't know why. The convenience store where we spent $2.50 (fuck..lol) was right across the Much Music Headquarters and saw a whole bunch of people standing outside. We walked over and asked the security guard who was there. Katy Perry! We stayed to see her come out for 3 minutes and try to get some camera time. LOL. I think my girlfriend said she saw my eye on TV. haha!




She said, "Hold on, I gotta bundle up." LOL. Matte must've been freezing. It was cold.

We started to mission back to the Osgoode Station to subway to Union Station for the game. Arrived early and then my cousin, Robert forced me to take a picture with some of the Raptors DancePak. -_- lol. Right after, we saw Leo Routins, Sherminator and that other guy (haha) talking to a couple of the Harlem Globetrotters who later did a little freestyle performance during a time out.





It was a sick game and I had fun screaming and booing at Vince Carter and the Nets. "BOOOO!!" "LET'S GO RAPTORS. VC SUCKS!!" Too bad we lost. I fucking hate Vince Carter. I truly hate him.
